Victor Zamora has served as the director of KIPP Through College for KIPP Colorado Schools since May 2014. In this role he has helped increase the college matriculation and persistence rates and created an official partnership with Colorado State University.  Before joining KIPP Colorado, Zamora worked at Oregon State University as the assistant director of multicultural recruitment, where he led statewide efforts to increase diversity on campus, create college access programs, strengthen financial aid practices, and lead the implementation of the Tuition Equity bill granting undocumented students in-state tuition. Prior to Oregon State University, Zamora served as an admission counselor at Seattle University for five years. During his time there, he developed admissions practices and procedures that served foster youth, undocumented students and athletes. Zamora received his bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science from Central Washington University.
