 Tim co-founded EdNavigator with two colleagues in 2015. Prior to that, he served alongside Ariela Rozman as President of TNTP, a leading education nonprofit organization that partners with school systems and states to ensure that all students get excellent teachers. During his eight years in that role, TNTP became a leading source of innovative research and a respected independent voice on teacher quality issues. Before joining TNTP in 2001, Tim taught social studies at Northeast Middle School in Baltimore. He holds a MA in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in American Studies from Northwestern University. He lives in Chicago with his wife and two children.
