Steven J. Healy, managing partner and co-founder of Margolis Healy, is a nationally recognized expert on campus safety, Title IX and the Clery Act. From 2003 through 2009, he was director of public safety at Princeton University, where he led the university’s safety, security and law enforcement programs. Prior to Princeton, Healy was the chief of police at Wellesley College in Wellesley, Mass. Healy served as chairperson of the National Center for Campus Public Safety Advisory Board and was responsible for leading the development of a strategic plan and framework for the National Center for Campus Public Safety (NCCPS). He is currently the chair of the advisory board for the NCCPS, which was funded by Congress with bipartisan support in 2013. Healy serves as a subject-matter expert for the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of Justice. He is a frequently-requested and nationally-established consultant, presenter and trainer.
