For over a decade, Discovery Education’s Vice President of Public Affairs Stephen Wakefield has connected reporters and editors to various sources on a variety of education topics. Previously, he worked for ASCD (formerly the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development), where he served as director of communications. Wakefield holds a bachelor’s degree from Alvernia University in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
