A former law professor and successful entrepreneur in legal education, he sold his bar exam preparation and legal publishing business and used some of the proceeds to found the nonprofit Joseph & Edna Josephson Institute of Ethics and its CHARACTER COUNTS! project in honor of his parents. He was presented with America’s Integrity Award by President Ronald Reagan and named UCLA’s Alumnus of the Year. His radio career includes an 18 year stint as an award-winning commentator on KNX-1070 in Los Angeles and other stations across the country and on American Forces Network.
