Matt is an elementary principal in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. He started as a 5th and 6th-grade teacher in a country school outside of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. After seven years of teaching, he served as a dean of students at a junior high, which developed into an assistant principalship along with athletic director duties. Matt is the author of 5 Myths About Classroom Technology (ASCD, 2015) and Digital Portfolios in the Classroom (ASCD, 2017). In addition, he teaches online graduate courses in curriculum design and instructional leadership for the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
