Marcie Craig Post has served as executive director of the
International Literacy Association (ILA) since 2012. Prior to
joining ILA, Post served as chief program and education officer
for Global Partnership Schools and Global Education Management
Systems. During her tenure, she directed and managed the design
and development of curriculum for international schools.
In addition, she served for 10 years as the chief executive
officer of Education Enterprises of New York (now Education
Success Network), overseeing the operation of five affiliated
education nonprofit organizations and serving for 10 years as
executive director of the Norman Howard School in Upstate New
York. Marcie’s leadership of ILA focuses on identifying and
monitoring education and literacy issues from around the world
and positioning ILA to be a central resource for information and
force for change.
