Lisa Hudson is an education statistician at the National Center for Education Statistics in the U.S. Department of Education. For over 15 years, she has directed NCES’ data reporting on career and technical education.  She also is the lead instrument designer for a new NCES survey on adult education and training, to be fielded in 2016. Prior to NCES, Hudson worked at the RAND Corporation, where she worked on studies of teacher quality and other education policy issues. Hudson has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a doctorate in behavioral statistics from Cornell University.
