Lindsey Terrill is a special education teacher at John H. Kinzie Elementary in the Garfield Ride neighborhood in Chicago. She is licensed to teach special education, general education and English as a second language (ESL) in the state of Illinois. Terrill has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Trinity Christian College and is working towards a master’s in special education with a focus on behavior and autism, in conjunction with coursework to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Terrill enjoys teaching because she wants to have a positive impact on the lives of her students and challenge them in order to maximize their potential. Seeing the joy on the face of a student who has mastered a task that they previously struggled with is one of the most satisfying aspects of teaching.
