Lina Fritz is the managing director of Program Innovation at OneGoal – Chicago, a college access and success organization that provides a 3-year, teacher-led program in 71 Chicago Public Schools starting in the junior year of high school through the first year of postsecondary. As the head of innovation for the region, Fritz is charged with helping the organization figure out how to serve more students better by testing experimental models that will enable us to close the degree divide at scale. Like many of the students she serves, Lina is, herself, a first-generation high school and college graduate. She joined OneGoal because she loves that the organization believes in the power of a teacher to make a profound impact on students and is committed to co-constructing solutions alongside the communities we serve.
