Kristina Saccone is the vice president for GreatSchools Local, working with partners across the country to engage parents with school information. She developed a passion for education as a journalist, first at the PBS NewsHour, then at Colorado Public Radio and Aspen Public Radio. As a vice president at Colorado Succeeds, she led state and local-level strategy on issues of standards and accountability, data transparency, and school choice. She also has worked for the Donnell-Kay Foundation, a Denver-based family foundation. Her volunteer engagements include founding Young Education Professionals-Colorado and sitting on the board at the Downtown Denver Expeditionary School.
