Kai-leé Berke is a lifelong early childhood educator, who has taught and cared for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners in public, private, and Department of Defense programs. She previously served as CEO of Teaching Strategies — the leading provider of early childhood solutions for programs serving children from birth through third grade. She received her master’s degree in human development from Pacific Oaks College, and her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Maryland. Berke previously served as a program administrator for a multi-site preschool organization. In addition to her local and national work as an early childhood trainer and consultant, she served as an adjunct faculty member at Honolulu Community College and Pacific Oaks College. As vice president of curriculum and assessment, Kai-leé co-authored the award-winning Creative Curriculum for Preschool and Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, and Twos, which provide educators with developmentally appropriate lessons and resources to create authentic learning opportunities.
