Jonathan Plucker is an endowed professor of education and talent development at Johns Hopkins University, where he works in the School of Education and Center of Talented Youth. He previously directed the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy while a professor of educational psychology and cognitive science at Indiana University. Plucker has been especially active in the areas of school choice, talent development and gifted education, 21st century skills, creativity, and state accountability systems. His projects have involved schools and students in all 50 states and several countries. He frequently interacts with news outlets, including CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Newsweek.
