Jason DeWitt is research manager at the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center. In this role, DeWitt is responsible for coordinating custom research collaborations with external partners, and also for contributing analysis to original reports published by the NSC Research Center. Recent projects include analysis and support for the Million Records Project, published by the Student Veterans of America. He has been at the Clearinghouse since 2010. Before joining NSC, he was senior data and reporting analyst in Harvard University’s Office of the President and Provost. While at Harvard, DeWitt contributed analysis on a wide range of topics, such as academic planning, reaccreditation, faculty diversity, and economic impact. He has been working in postsecondary education research for over 10 years, and has a master’s degree in information science from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Cornell University.
