Gloria DeGaetano is the founder and CEO of The Parent Coaching Institute. The PCI is the originator of parent coaching as a profession and maintains the highest standards for parent coaching professionals, offering a comprehensive, year-long, graduate-level parent coach training program for Parent Coach Certification. A nationally acclaimed educator, author and speaker, DeGaetano has over 30 years of experience working with children, teachers and parents as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, district administrator, university instructor and national consultant. DeGaetano’s latest book, “Parenting Well in a Media Age,” received the 2007 i-Parenting Media Award. DeGaetano’s ideas and articles have appeared in numerous publications, including Ladies Home Journal, Redbook, McCall’s Magazine, Parenting Insights, American Baby Magazine, The Boston Globe, and Catholic Faith and Family Magazine.
