Cyndia Morales Muñiz is assistant director of Multicultural Academic & Support Services (MASS) at the University of Central Florida. In this role, she provides support to multicultural and first-generation college students and also oversees the assessment, reporting and grant writing processes of the office. She serves on several university committees in the division of Student Development and Enrollment Services (SDES) and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. As an executive team leader of the SDES Diversity Education Committee, she assists with coordinating diversity education trainings for staff members. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor of sociology, education and leadership and is the founding president of the Latino Faculty & Staff Association (LaFaSA) at UCF. Muñiz is highly involved with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund of Metro Orlando. Her efforts and accomplishments have been recognized by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, La Prensa Newspaper, the Orlando Business Journal, and the Women’s Executive Council of Orlando.
