Christine Willig is the CEO of Illuminate Education. Prior to joining Illuminate Education, Willig held various positions of leadership including CEO of Key Data Systems (KDS), and president of the K-12 division at McGraw-Hill Education, where she led all product development and managed an extensive portfolio of PreK-12 curriculum and instructional materials. She also built and served as president of the company that launched CODIE-award-winning netTrekker. In recognition of her outstanding work in the education industry, Willig was awarded the Lamplighter Visionary Award from the Association of American Publishers in 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 1979 from the University of Notre Dame.
