Brenda Bautsch is a research and policy analyst and the P-20 alignment director at the Colorado Department of Higher Education. In these roles, she coordinates policies and conducts research on issues relating to postsecondary and workforce readiness, education achievement gaps and student success. Bautsch manages the District at a Glance project for CDHE, which provides feedback to Colorado’s school districts on the postsecondary outcomes of their students. She previously worked at the National Conference of State Legislatures where she helped drive and develop state policy around college readiness and completion. Brenda is a doctoral candidate at the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs, and she holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
