Robert F. Boruch is University Trustee Chair Professor at the Graduate School of Education and the Statistics Department of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a fellow of the American Educational Research Association, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Statistical Association, and the Academy for Experimental Criminology. Boruch’s recent research interests cover research policy, randomized controlled trials, ethics and administrative data systems and surveys, and big data, including MOOCs. He has had his work published in Education Week and in research journals in education, health, criminology, administration, sociology, psychology, evaluation and other disciplines. Boruch has served on a variety of boards and committees of the National Academy of Sciences, William T. Grant Foundation, and the National Science Foundation, among others, and currently serves on the American Institutes for Research Board of Directors.
