Anthony Petrosino is director of the WestEd Justice & Prevention Research Center, project director and senior research associate in the Learning Innovations Program at WestEd, and senior research fellow at the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy at George Mason University. He has over 25 years of experience working on research and evaluation projects.Current projects include co-directing five justice research projects funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, and two randomized trials of a teen pregnancy prevention program funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He received a Distinguished Service Award from the Campbell Crime and Justice Group for his service and the Pro Humanitate Literary Award for his review of Scared Straight programs. Petrosino is also honorary fellow for the Academy of Experimental Criminology.
