Kinjo Kiema is a program specialist at the Education Writers Association. She works on a variety projects to support education journalists, including planning seminars, researching and writing online resources, and assisting with the EWA Reporting Fellows program.
Prior to joining EWA, she served as an education policy fellow at the Roosevelt Institute, where she researched ways to improve mental health services at colleges and universities. Kiema also previously wrote articles for the Bolivian Express — Bolivia’s largest English language newspaper — wrote an opinion column for the George Washington University newspaper, and completed an editorial internship at the National Education Association. Kiema holds a bachelors of arts in American Studies from the George Washington University.
