Kevin Sweeney is vice president for psychometrics research at the College Board, where he is responsible for ensuring that all psychometric and data needs are met. In this role, he ensures that appropriate data are collected, oversees the processes for maintaining the integrity of the data obtained, designs and oversees the data analyses conducted, and ensures that the reports generated are accurate and error-free. Prior to the College Board, Sweeney worked at Measured Progress, a nonprofit assessment and educational services company dedicated to advancing student learning and improving outcomes. He also worked at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where he oversaw all of the psychometric and data analytic work required for the Uniform CPA Examination and several other certification examinations. Sweeney received his doctorate in psychometrics and master’s degree in psychology from Fordham University. He received his bachelor’s in psychology from Saint Bonaventure University.
