Diane Rado is an education watchdog reporter for the Chicago Tribune, doing K-12 investigative and policy stories. She has worked for the Tribune for almost 12 years. Rado previously covered the governor and state legislature in Florida for the St. Petersburg Times, reported on public schools at The Dallas Morning News, and published a weekly newspaper focusing on Chicago suburban schools. She did a fellowship in education reform at the University of Michigan from 1999 to 2000 and has a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
