Beth Shuster

Beth Shuster served as the education editor at the Los Angeles Times until December 2015. Prior to that, she was the state editor at the Times and a reporter for nine years covering education, city hall and law enforcement. She was a member of the teams that won the Pulitzer Prize for the 1997 North Hollywood shootout/bank robbery and for the 1994 Northridge earthquake. She also has worked at the Daily News in Los Angeles, the Riverside Press-Enterprise and State News Service in Washington, D.C.
