To help their children get into American universities, Chinese parents have started sending them to U.S. high schools — and paying top dollar to do it. According to a 2016 survey conducted by a Shanghai-based research firm, 83 percent of China’s millionaires are planning to send their children to school abroad. The average age, according to the poll, has dropped to 16 today from 18 in 2014 — the first time it has reached the high-school level.
