Come To School In Person Or Withdraw, Florida District Tells Students
From the president on down, calls have grown to ensure that children attend schools in person regardless of the coronavirus. Children can’t wait, UNICEF leaders said, saying the disruption to students’ education has been too great.
The latest example comes from Orange County, one of the Florida school districts that originally fought the state’s ban on strict mask mandates. Until recently, the district allowed families to keep their children home if they had worries about coronavirus, even if their children weren’t infected or exposed.
