Journalist Advisory Board

The Journalist Advisory Board is a group of accomplished education journalists who help the Education Writers Association carry out its mission to increase the quality and quantity of education coverage.

Formed in September 2012, the panel provides input and feedback on a range of membership and programming questions. Such topics include efforts to improve member engagement, EWA’s events,  the National Awards for Education Reporting, and online resources aimed at bolstering education journalists’ skills and knowledge.

2017-18 Journalist Advisory Board

Members of the advisory board are appointed by EWA’s Board of Directors to serve two-year terms. The 2017-2018 EWA Journalist Advisory Board consists of 13 members from a mix of regional and national media organizations.
