Communications Strategy Group (CSG), a full-service public relations firm with a focus on influencer relations and content marketing, is seeking candidates for an available senior associate position in the firm’s expanding Education Practice. The practice serves a diverse portfolio of clients including colleges and universities; school districts; state departments of education; education associations, foundations and advocacy organizations; and B2B and B2C education companies.
CSG is based in Denver, with offices in Chicago and New York. The successful candidate can be based in Denver or Chicago. Candidates do not have to be in one of those locations currently – CSG is open to candidates looking to relocate.
The senior associate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned client accounts. He/she will be a strategic thinker able to contribute to and execute integrated communications plans, nurture client relationships, lead influencer engagement (identify, build and grow relationships with target media/influencers), develop a wide variety of content (press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, blog posts, newsletter articles, social media posts, case studies, etc.) and oversee account management activities, as well as other responsibilities as required.
The ideal candidate has higher education communications experience and is an ambitious, creative self-starter who is a strong writer capable of creating content in a variety of styles and forms, and is willing to go the extra mile for clients and colleagues. Applicants should have at least four years of communications and marketing experience.
Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
