KQED’s dynamic multi-media newsroom is seeking an education reporter, based in San Francisco. The reporter is responsible for leading our coverage of one of the most critical issues in the region, the state and the country. This reporter will balance major enterprise projects (like the upcoming “State of the California Dream”) and breaking news coverage. Responsibilities include writing scripts, reporting and interviewing for the newscasts and The California Report, and posting stories and other editorial content to the web, mobile and social media. When off the air, the Reporter III/Host II, KQED News is also participating in an in-depth content hub with a team of other reporters working on impact and accountability project based journalism.
