Scholarship Steps for the L.A. Seminars

EWA is able to provided limited travel scholarships to qualified members. Scholarships may be able to cover or reimburse your costs to attend the seminar. Scholarships are granted first come, first served.

  1. Apply for a Scholarship (CLOSED)
    You will need to describe your financial needs and qualifications. 
  2. Wait for an Award Confirmation
    Your scholarship application will be reviewed by EWA. There is no guarantee that you will receive a scholarship or a scholarship for the amount requested.
  3. Receive Award Letter
    You will receive an award confirmation letter by email.
  4. Register for Seminar
    After you receive the award letter, you must register for the seminar.
  5. Book Your Hotel Room
    After you receive an award letter, you will receive instructions to book your room at the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown Hotel (711 South Hope Street, Los Angeles, CA 30017).
  6. Book Your Travel
    After you receive the award letter, you must book your own travel to the seminar. Follow the guidelines noted in the letter.
  7. Attend the Seminar
    Come to the seminar and make sure you check in at the seminar registration desk.
  8. Complete the Seminar Evaluation
    After the seminar, complete an online evaluation. You will receive a link and instructions by email.
  9. Submit Travel Reimbursement
    Once you’ve completed the evaluation, submit your expenses reimbursement form and receipts.
  10. Receive Reimbursement Check
    You will receive a check in the mail. The check will be in a plain-looking envelope from a third-party vendor.
