COVID-19 Safety Policies for 75th EWA National Seminar

The following guidelines are based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

For the most up-to-date information, visit the CDC’s COVID-19 website.

EWA encourages attendees to get tested for COVID-19 before coming to the conference. Attendees should stay home if they have tested positive for COVID-19, have COVID-19 symptoms, or have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.

All attendees, speakers, and staff are required to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination in order to register and attend the 75th National Seminar. EWA will follow CDC guidance on vaccination. The Rosen Centre Hotel provides this guidance to visitors on their property.

Staff, speakers, and attendees must wear well-fitting masks (CDC: Your Guide to Masks) that fit completely over their nose and mouth. Masks must be worn inside unless eating, drinking, presenting or taking a professional photo. All individuals are responsible for bringing their own mask(s) for use during the conference. If necessary, mask(s) will be provided by EWA.

Hand sanitizer stations will be provided throughout the conference space.

Due to room size and current guidelines, EWA will not be able to provide space for social distancing during sessions, meals, or receptions.

EWA encourages all attendees and others traveling to Orlando for the conference to follow CDC guidelines during their trip.

EWA will monitor changes to CDC’s guidelines on COVID-19 and will provide updates to this page and to all registered attendees of the conference as appropriate. EWA reserves the right to modify or change any guidelines at any time for any reason.

By participating in or attending the EWA National seminar you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
