Math and Science in Schools: What Do You Cover, How Can Experts Help?
Early next month, I’ll have the opportunity to speak with math and science researchers about communication skills. Specifically, they want to know to better make their research accessible to multiple audiences, including other researchers, policy makers, educators, and the public.
As education writers, editors and reporters, what are you looking for from sources when dealing with math and science topics? Do you have an example of a particularly useful press kit (or one that fell short)?
What issues would you like to tackle or are you already covering? Singapore math? STEM career academies?
I will share your ideas and suggestions, and you can expect a full report from me after the meeting.
