Andrew Balson is an education and business leader with a demonstrated, long-standing commitment to educational equity and student success. In his role as CEO of Match Beyond, Balson is dedicated to empowering young adults to advance their educations through personal coaching, study support, and job placement services in a college format that is uniquely low-cost, flexible and relevant. Previously, Balson worked as a business executive for two decades and served on the boards of various nonprofits. Balson chaired the national board of directors of Citizen Schools, a Boston-based organization that partners with public middle schools in low-income communities to expand the learning day through academic mentoring and skill-building apprenticeships that help students achieve significant learning gains. He also served on the board of Generations Incorporated, a nonprofit intergenerational literacy organization that unites older adults and youth to ensure students have a strong literacy foundation by first grade and are reading proficiently by the end of third grade. Balson graduated from Princeton University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
