Teachers unions are still a political powerhouse in many states, and even in right-to-work states where they have less influence unions still collect dues money from teachers and spend it on a variety of activities. In a joint project, Hechinger Report and Gotham Schools reporters examined how the local unions spend their money. Reporters from each of these outlets will discuss their findings at our free webinar July 11 at 1 p.m. EDT.
