Evidence-Based Home Visiting: The Impact of Parents as Teachers on the Education Continuum
Parents as Teachers will hold a briefing on Monday, May 16 at 2 pm in Room 203-02 of the Senate Visitors Center in Washington, D.C. focusing on the larger discussions surrounding the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
Learn about the national impact this evidence-based home visiting model has made on the lives of young children through promoting school readiness and parental engagement.
Hear about the increasing need for equitable investment in early childhood education from the perspectives of a national early childhood/parenting education organization, a state multi-service agency, a local school district superintendent, and a parent.
