Schools could consider merit pay for teachers
Local school district leaders have said they will consider linking teacher evaluations to student performance and other reforms proposed by the state as it competes for a federal grant. Missouri could bring in $250 million if it's one of the eight to 10 states expected to receive part of the $4.35 billion designated to help reform education.
