Severing a Lifeline: The Neglect of Citizen Children in America’s Immigration Enforcement Policy
The Urban Institute finds about 1.3 million citizen children have one or both parents who are counted as undocumented in the U.S.and says Congress could do more by passing the DREAM Act which would give illegal alien children who graduate from an American high school, and have no criminal background an opportunity to attend college or serve in the military to earn legal status. 3/26/2009
