Literacy of College Graduates is on the Decline

An adult literacy survey shows a decline in literacy among college graduates. Only 41 percent of graduate students tested in 2003 showed the ability to read and process information from short texts. The rate for college graduates was even lower. On average, however, adult literacy remains unchanged since 1992.
