Private school enrollment strong, but more requesting aid

A slumping economy has prompted more families of Houston-area private school students to request financial assistance for tuition, books and other school expenses. Although enrollment remains strong, administrators said they're seeing gradual but meaningful effects of high gasoline prices and stretched family budgets.
