The National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) is seeking a talented individual to lead our writing efforts and to manage the creation of project proposals.
AS LEAD WRITER, THIS PERSON WILL CREATE --
- Newsletters
- Op-Ed Pieces and Articles (draft for senior staff, clients or partners)
- Press Releases
- Summaries of 3rd-Party Articles and Research Reports
- White Papers
- Marketing Collateral
- Website Content
- Social Media Posts
- Email/Mail Outreach
- Conference Speaking Submissions
AS PROPOSAL COORDINATOR, THIS PERSON WILL --
- Draft Proposals / Grant Applications
- Track Grant Opportunities
- Lead Grant Application Strategy
- Manage the Proposal Creation and Production Process
- Direct, Assemble and Edit Copy from various sources
- Ensure Accurate and Timely Submission of Grant Applications
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS MOST OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Exceptional Writing Skills across Multiple Channels
- Strong Ability to Track Down Key Information (e.g. citations, reports, statistics)
- Experience Working in K-12 Education
- Minimum 3 Years Working Experience in Marketing, PR, Journalism, or Education Writing
- Project Management Experience
